Hey everyone. I was running errands today and decided to drop by the
petshop to see all the lil ferrets. I was kind of disappointed because
there were only 2 there. I was looking around, and smelled somethin kind
of funny. I looked into the cage and noticed their corner was full of ...
thick runny light brown poo. (Sorry to ruin it, but think of melted
Wendy's Frosty) Some of it was runny/gritty looking. The ferret that was
awake acted ok, but the one that was asleep felt kind of warm to me. I
didn't see any crust on the nose or eyes or feet on either of them. But
the sleeping one's tummy looked rather large to me. He wouldnt wake up
when I moved him or anything. Just shifted around and kind of fell back
to "sleep". Nobody was there but one girl. She might even be the girl
that wanted to give her two ferrets away before because she didnt want
them anymore. (Of course, she ended up keeping them because her husband
liked them and made her keep them) Should I make a phonecall or something?
This isn't the first time they've had sick ferrets there. (My fourth
ferret came from there and she became very sick when I brought her home,
and later found out that all the ferrets that were shipped with her were
also sick)
