The Fredonia ferrets headed west were finally transported to new homes this
weekend, and were united with their new families!

Gee weasels -- what a beautiful trio! They had rich, thick, soft, fluffy
fur, and made my ferrets look tiny. I wanted to keep them all -- ferret
math! :-)

Snickers, a gigantic, 4- or 5-pound hefty sable male with a super sweet
disposition, liked to bite toes and pull socks off human feet.

Feather, a huge champagne/albino female almost as big as Snickers, bit my
toenail right through my sock! By the time we got to Flagstaff, AZ, she was
snuggled up in my lap waiting to meet her new mom.

The other sweet, gentle, sable female didn't yet have a name -- her new
family gets to name her. She had two beautiful brown, vertical stripes in
her fur above her eyes.

Kaye Pullen transported the adoptees to Amarillo. Stephanie Maehr
transported them to Albuquerque. Linda Doran drove them to Flagstaff. Mary
Alice Watrous, the new mom of the albino, drove her to Las Vegas. Jamie and
Perry John, the new parents of the other two, drove them to Tucson.

Gee weasels -- what a beautiful bunch!
