I have a print of the Weasel Clan on my wall.  I got it as a gift a few
years back and I have enjoyed it a great deal.  I'm sure the ferret fan in
your life would enjoy a t-shirt with this artwork on it!  :)
 
Go softly into that good night....
 
Squirt did not.  He fought it until the very end.  On Saturday our oldest
ferret, Squirt, finally lost his long battle with insulinoma.  His
determination to live, even though life had grown to be a mere shadow of
what it once had been, is a testiment to the indomitable spirit that a
ferret possesses.
 
And while we're not sure he knew, Squirt left this life behind doing the
one thing he loved as much as canteloupe and dirt - being snuggled in my
husband's arms.
 
On the FML Squirt is best remembered as my inspiration for the ASCII art I
created 5 years ago for my signature below.  He also was Captain Jean Dook
Fercard in "Ferret Trek: The Next Generation" (posted to the FML back in
'95) and was featured in many other posts from my husband Mike and myself.
We hope you've enjoyed those posts as much as we've enjoyed writing them.
Squirt was a wonderful ferret and he made the writings easy for us.
