Celebrity Spokesperson?

I was wondering why the California ferret effort doesn't have a celebrity
spokesperson.  It would seem to me that some celebrity should own or want to
own ferrets and live in California.  Has anyone looked into that?  Not that
Pat Wright and the CDFA folks aren't good spokespeople, I just thought a
celebrity might carry some weight.  Hey, maybe I'm wrong, but companies like
Nike seem to be doing all right!
