Phillip-- I have heard stories of the corn cob working its way up into the
rectum of fuzzies and expanding. I use pelleted pine or cedar litters.
Since it's pelleted, I don't think it can release the dangerous oils
(someone correct ime if I'm wrong) and I have read of several respectable
people using this.

Heyn and Scooter--maybe, at the risk of bing flamed, you need to not
free=feed Scooter and feed him little bits lots of times a day. The other
option I can think of would be to try putting some sort of a pan under the
feeder to catch teh food. Maybe then he wouldn't think it was dirty. Good
Luck!
