I have never had this happen before, but when I trimmed Amber's nails
tonight, they were all cracking and peeling as I cut them. Some peeled
right up to the cuticle, and seemed to be uncomfortable to her as I
removed them. I did Jenna's nails right after Amber's with no problems,
and I have never seen this in the 5+ years I have had Amber. Are her
nails dry? What can I do about this? Anyone else have this happen? I
trimmed my 3 kittens' nails after the ferrets and had no trouble with
theirs either. Any help would be appreciated.
