Many of us put up items for sale on E-bay, or we bid on items to help
shelters.

Just a heads up that I am getting these very E-bay looking e-mails saying
that I am going to be unable to be on E-bay any longer ...I will be
suspended or cancelled... unless I go to this site and fill out the info
there.

I click to that site, and again it looks just like a web page from E-bay.
It asks for my mothers maiden name, bank account numbers, credit card
numbers, passwords, etc.

I was SO upset seeing that. It truly looks like it is from e-bay.
Do not fill that out!!!!!!!!!!!
***BEWARE***

@ Ring worm may be spreading quickly to ferals in Central Illinois@

The largest cat shelter here...Save A Pet.. currently has sixty cases
of ringworm brought in by ferals, according to a friend who volunteers
there. It is highly contageous. Many of us take in or care for feral
cats and have our ferrets.

I am taking the feral cat that just sleeps inside here during the day
to a specialist . Looks like my feral may have ringworm, according to
a friend...the fur on the legs is almost all gone in only two weeks.

Does anyone know if ferrets can get ringworm from cats? Can humans?

There is a cat living on the porch that is round...looks pregnant plus.
But it has been that way for months. It acts like it is starving to
death when I set out a large bowl of AD cat food ..which is twice a day.
Could be filled with worms, yes? The feral that stays indoors here
during the day is getting like that.

I will ask specialist today about ferrets...but it is not an exotic
animal vet. He may not know a thing about ferrets. Does anyone out
there have any info on spread of ringworm to ferrets?
