Hi,

One of my ferrets was diabetic as a rare complication of insulinoma
surgery. We were unable to test blood sugar daily so we tested her
urine.

For quite some time, she was getting daily insulin injections. She was
put on Purina prescription Feline DM (diabetic management) diet. After
close to a year, she was able to discontinue the injections. She still
eats the Purina DM, and now she also gets an herbal supplement - Noni
juice (1cc twice per day mixed with approximately 1cc Duck Soup). She'll
be 8 years old next week and has been doing very well. I am convinced
that the Noni juice has been incremental in her recovery. She was given
a fatal prognosis back in April and was not expected to survive the
month. After starting the Noni juice, she began to act half her age
and is still doing just great!

hat is my experience with a diabetic ferret. I hope it helps a little.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you'd like.

Kim
