I read a "found ferret" ad in the local paper, and called the number to
see if they needed advice.  The woman who placed the ad gave me permission
to post, including her phone number, here.
 
The ferret invited itself into this woman's home on Hope Street,
Greenfield, and befriended her teenage children.  She says it is brown
with a raccoon mask; doesn't know if it is male or female.  It is friendly
and her children have been walking it on a leash.
 
If you know this ferret's owner, please call 413-774-7530.  (I might
adopt it myself if she doesn't find the owner...)
