I got the same email from Ebay and I don't care if I am kicked off of
ebay, I'm not giving out that information that they asked for.  I think
it is probably not official although it does look an awful lot like an
official Ebay website.  I'm just not willing to risk all that may come
along with giving out that info.
 
As far as ringworm is concerned, it is highly contagious, humans can get
it and so can other pets.  It is a fungus and is easily treated by your
vet, and if you get it, it can be treated by your doctor.  Hope this
