Hi everyone again. Iv'e been reading my FML diligently and would now
like to ask a question. Has anyone had any experience with disinfectant
sprays such as Lysol and ferrets? A couple of days ago my husband
started complaining about the ferret "smell".

"What smell?," I replied. "I don't smell anything." He stared at me and
reasserted that my fuzzies smelled. I said, "Oh, it must be the food.
It smells a little like cat food."

Well, my husband has been very tolerant of my babies up until now (wev'e
had them about 2 months) but he's always been a "clean freak". I change
the fuzzies litter pans daily and wash their bedding weekly, but I don't
want my husband to keep complaining, so I decided to spot clean the rug
with Simple Green (a biodegradable, non-toxic cleaner)and then I sprayed
the babies usual pooping corners with Lysol and even sprayed under their
cage which is up on a stand. When the fuzzies are out (which is most of
the day) they usually don't bother with looking for a litter pan, even
though I have three of them spread around the two rooms that the babies
have access to.

Since I don't want to cause any conflict with my hubby, I was wondering
if this was okay to spray on a weekly or twice weekly basis. Also, I
use those plug in type of room fresheners where the fuzzies can't get to
them.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks all!
