SO sorry you found out the hard way and your hopes were dashed!
 
I have been trying to tell folks that in the HUMANE COMMUNITY-- Ferrets
are NON - ANIMALS.  Maddies Fund while it has literally millions of
dollars ,is only available for programs which benefit cats & dogs!
 
We need to be vigilant here to protect our ferrets -- We must get them
OFF the wildlife & exotic pets listings-- while it may sound classy-- they
are still not considered companion pets, and unless we change things a
legislative push could make them illegal everywhere..
 
Our fight for equality in the pet classification continues.
