I have seen, literally all over the place, about raisins causing kidney
failure in ferrets.

I did some searches on the web and could only find documented info on a
dog case. And then a lot of speculation.

Is there any real evidence of this? I mean other than anecdotal?

I understand sugary treats aren't good for ferrets with insulinoma, but
I must say that in over a decade of feeding raisins to ferrets, I have
only had one out of 35 have any kidney problems. And he had horrible
blockages from adrenal disease.

Blessings,
Margie
