Why were the baby's 3 middle fingers missing on each hand and not all
of them taken off? Or all the fingers taken off one hand? If it were
the ferret, would he have been so selective? If you hold your hold out
in front of you, the 3 middle fingers stick out further than the others
and could be chomped off at once by a dog, leaving the shorter thumb
and perhaps the pinkie untouched. It just doesn't seem like a ferret
would chose the 3 middle fingers on each hand. He could not possibly
put all 3 in his mouth at onced to bite them off like a dog could. It
just doesn't add up to me.
