Hi all,

My Penelope is 3 and a half years old. I had an appt to take her to the
doctor for a check up this Saturday, but I have to attend my sister's
confirmation. I have to delay the appointment til the end of May (next
available opening). Now, my Penelope is very strong, gets lots of play
time... very active, excellent ferret. But when I hold her she shakes a
lot. I know she loves me, not afraid of me, because of all of her other
mannerisms. But this concerns me, until I get to see the vet does anyone
have any idea what this means? Is it normal? I can only think that she
is like this because I got her in August last year from my neighbor who
kept her locked up in a tiny, one level cage all her life and never played
with... I can only imagine what she went through. He is a very nice guy,
but I believe it was his wife that made him keep her locked up. I can
only think that him mistreating her gives her the shakes. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Stephanie, Patrick, Penelope and Abe
