I wouldn't recommend buying that much as the recommended storage time for
pet foods when stored properly is 9months to a year.  Proper storage is in a
cool dry place.  If it was improperly stored during shipping, it might be
spoiled when you get it, or have a very reduced storage period.  My two
ferrets probably eat 8 lbs in 2 or 3 months, so that maybe you should
consider ordering 40lbs for a year.  Of course, you can package it up and
put it in a deepfreeze too.  Once thawed out, it can last for the year and
you wouldn't have to worry about spoiled foods.  If you can get Iams kitten
food over there, it might save you a lot of money you would have paid for
shipping costs.
