You can buy the cornstarch peanuts from ULine, they are online,
probably ULine.com. I got a 12 square foot bag for less than $20.00
I think. Beware, they'll eat these too, mine did.

Yes, some ferrets will eat macaroni and rice. I had both types of
digging boxes with 20 pounds of rice in one and 15 pounds of elbow
macaroni in the other, they ate both but never had any ill results.
They LOVE the boxes.
