They may steal a little and your house be a mess.
If you dare to catch them, they will not confess.
 
They have no pot, or so I've been told.
Their true treasure is a Heart O' Gold.
 
Laugh at their antics while they play.
And never, ever send them away.
 
For your acts of kindness, they'll reward tenfold.
Your heart is all that will be stolen, it's foretold.
 
Tis best to let them have their way.
