There is a ferret in CA that is in need of help specifically a home,
and a very special home. I would normally never post something like
this on here but with this situation I am desperate. He was dumped on
us about a month ago. I'm estimating him at about 2 years old. He's
not a Marshall Farms as he has no tattoos, he is also not descented as
he has poofed a few times and he's deaf. We have tried him with other
ferrets, and he absolutely hates them. As soon as he sees another
ferret he goes right for the back of their neck and bites them while
shaking his head vigorously. Not that all of this isn't bad enough but
he has also bitten his foster mom a few times. When he bit her it was
always very hard and twice he drew blood. The thing is there doesn't
seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why he bit. He doesn't do the
lick, lick, bite thing nor was he startled. She also has no other
ferrets in her home other than him but does have a small dog and he
completely left the dog alone. At this point due to his bad biting
habits my club is afraid to place him in a home in California . All
of my members either have other ferrets or have a living situation
that they don't want an unstable biter in. Yet I have played with
him, even gotten kisses from him all without any biting.

I wanted to check and see if anyone knew of someone that would be
willing to take this ferret and a home that he would be safe in. I
would prefer someone in a state that borders California as that would
be much easier to drive to. If anyone would be willing to take him or
has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.
