Hold the phone! There is a pediatric formula of Biaxin granules that has
a fruit punch flavor!!! I tasted just the granules and the first thing I
noticed was the fruit punch flavor, then as time wore on I tasted the
chemical but this was without eating or drinking anything after I tasted
the granules and I had not reconstituted them. So for ferrets needing to
take Biaxin, you may want your vet to call the human pharmacy and order
the pediatric granules instead of giving the nasty crushed up pills.

Another simple answer to a medication question. Sometimes I think I
have blinders on. (Actually if it doesn't involve ferrets I'm lost, just
ask anyone close to me. We could have a nuclear bomb scare and I'd be
clueless. :-0)

Hugs to all. tle
