Debbi asked about finding "huge hammocks".
 
Why not make them?  Even though I'm all thumbs normally when it comes to
this sort of stuff, it took me a total of 20mins or so to make two large
hammocks by folding in half two large towels, attaching metal eyelets with
a 'kit' from a craft store, and attaching them with a safety pin on each
corner to the roof of the cage.  Toss in a blanket or two and voila!
 
My hammocks often have four or five ferrets in them.
