To Danny Williams concerning Buster:
 
Danny - there is nothing very diagnostic in the bloodwork.  The elevated
lymphocyte count suggests a chronic infection, most likley in the stomach
due to Helicobacter, a very common bacteria that lives in the stomach.
There may also be gastric ulcers here too, but I'm just playing the odds
on both of these counts.  Are the feces normal??
 
At two and a half years of age, you should always also consider
gastrointestinal foreign bodies.
 
Something else that you might consider as the bladder seems painful is a
urinalysis to check for the presence of blood, and while you are at it, a
blood chemistry panel wouldn't hurt.  Until you can get this done, stay
close to him and keep a close eye on him.  SHould you identify any other
signs, make sure you tell your vet.
 
You might also check the STAR database to see if there are any knowledgeable
vets in your area.
