According to a friend, National Public Radio did a brief story on ferrets
yesterday. The friend is not ferret-knowedgeable, and was suprised to hear
that some people are afraid of ferrets. (He met Belle on a visit about 2
years ago.) It sounds like the story was fairly positive, and told how
ferrets were becoming increasingly popular and many were finding them to be
good pets.

I tried to find transcripts on NPR's web pages (www.npr.org) without
success. Did anyone hear this story?
