this is a strange question for those wise ones out there. is petreulum jelly
the same thing as hairball remedy. . . or is it dangerous for ferrets to eat
it. the reason why i am asking, is that my 4 1/2 year sprite, Big, was
having problems with dry pads on her feet, so i put petroleum jelly on
them
two times a day. she started out licking off the jelly from her paws, so i
rubbed some more p.j. on her belly at the time of applying it to her feet.
this kept her from licking it off of her feet, so they healed up wonderfuly.
since she liked it so much, and it seems lubricative enough, can i give her
petrelum jelly instead of the hairball remedy once a week???

thank you for your help!
