I'm sure someone got this in before me but I'll do it anyway--a sugar glider
is a marsupial. To me, they kinda look like chipmunks. As the name
implies, they can be trained to glide from say, their owner's hands to
another person's. There's a good picture of them in the Critters USA
magazine, 1995 edition. Might even have the same ad in the 1996 edition.

Steve Mcgrane commented on the various references to MF: When I got my
ferrets, I had no clue about what Marshall Farms was. I learned from
reading and asking questions on the FML. This forum is basically the only
place I know of that people can ask questions and get answers on ferret
related issues. So just bear with the folks that are learning (remember you
had to learn something new once too!).

Someone mentioned that people give suggestions in private email as opposed
to on the list. I have noticed that myself--and it's pretty sad. But I
understand why. It's a lot less hassle to simply post any suggestions to
the person asking as opposed to dealing with the flames that come after a
post. And even if you send private mail, some people end up posting your
comments to the list and precede to rake you over the coals. I wish we
could all just understand that everyone has a different situation in life
and what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. Just
like my favorite saying goes, opinions are like...uh, noses. Everybody's
got one. <G>
