Bob and Linda are pleased to announce the arrival of Pippin, who at
eight weeks of age is the newest addition to our family. Robin, Kimberley
and Elizabeth are thrilled at having a 'little brother'. Pippin has adapted
very quickly to his new home, is litter trained (well, ok...one little
mistake...) does not bite (if you don't count Bob's newly pierced lip...),
and has managed to worry Teddy-Bear, our Shepherd/Collie mix, that he is
being replaced.

A special thanks to Soo for allowing us to test Linda's possible ferret
allergy by visiting her and Coco. Happily there is no problem with any
allergies to fuzzies. We would also like to thank the Ottawa Ferret
Association (Pegge and Carl) for their hospitality. It was a real treat to
see so many ferrets (I think I counted sixteen..wall to wall fur), and let
Pippin play with his new buddies. Linda and I have lurked here for a while
now, gleaning information about carpet sharks and their owners..one of the
first things we were struck with was the obvious passion owners have for
their little fuzz balls. We really hot a kick out of the 'You know your
ferret is spoiled when...' . Great stuff!

Bye for now from Pippin et al.
