Quick note since feel woozzy form fever: still have not heard os ANY panda
or blaze marking marking ferrets that have lived beyond known ages of 6
and 3/4 years. Have asked many times over years and havehear dof other
fancies thatdo reach full ages (and one line of marked whites thatmight
be longer lived than nomral though the breeder is still following those
to be sure), but inall these years that's still the oldest I have ever
heard form those b;aze and panda markings from any source: large, small,
mediumm, private, farm etc. and its young -- very y9oung -- for a
maximum age for a given pattern, esp. one that has been bred into so many
ferrets. Not good. (If youhave one start the twice yearly special vet
checks with CBCs earlier than 5 eyars old to be mose safe: try 4 or a bit
younger. I fyoua re thinking of adding a ferret then *IF* the consistent
lack of reporting over the years of pandas or blazes that reach full
ages -- when other markings were reported many timews with full lives --
is real then perhaps you might want to avoid such markings or start from
scratch knowing that a bit of soecial care may be called for beyond an
increased risk of dealing with deafness.)
