Our oldest by a week, Molly, went into minor surgery today. We brought her
in the vet because, a few days ago, she started to slow down from her usual
hyperactive self, and spent a lot of time sleeping and scratching at her
stomach: turns out that she has a hernia! Dr. Daldin, who is a wonderful
vet, just finished popping it back in, and Molly will be back with her
wiggly comrades-in-mischief tomorrow.

Just curious: Molly is a Marshall Farms ferret, and the vet said that the
hernia had probably been there since she was a wee kit & had gotten worse as
she grew older. Has anyone else had weird experiences with Marshall Farms?
Our Obelix is another one, but he's a real sweetie, and people around here
(who own ferrets/handle ferrets/etc.) have said that the Marshall Farms
ferrets are usually the better ones to get because of the temperament.
