Don't know if you have heard or now, there is a great ferret club in
Tucson, Ferret Friends.  If you have any questions or just want to join
a group after you arrive, give them a holler.  They will also head you

As far as traveling, try to get frozen jugs and put in cages or try
traveling during the cooler part of the evening/night.  Not fun, but
might save the "kids".  Good luck with the move.
