Could someone provide a statistic with reference for the estimated number of
ferrets in the US? I also believe there is a reference that says ferrets are
the third most popular pet.
 
The North Coast Ferret Shelter (Bev Fox and I) was (were?) interviewed by
the Cleveland Plain Dealer, and I told the reporter I would get numbers for
him.  The photographer is coming tomorrow to take pictures.  [Smile, Stinky!
--that's one of the ferrets, not Bev :-)]
 
Will let y'all know if/when an article appears.
