Hairless tail

My 1 1/2 year old ferret is losing hair on his tail.  It started right
before his visit to the vet for vaccinations.  She said it wasn't adrenal
problems but was a rash.  I've read the FAQ and it fits the little
blackheads description.  She gave me an antibiotic.  I put that on for
about 3 weeks.  It looked better, but now it's coming back.  Does anyone
have any suggestions?
