Hello all !  My name is Michele and my husband are looking for cottage
who will except ferts in their rental home in Maine preferable or Vermont
or New Hampsire.
 
My name is Michele and we are looking to go on vacation with our 8
fuzzies.  Last year we boarded them with someone we were referred to from
a ferret shelter and when we got back they all had a nasty case of ECE.
We are wondering if anyone has a cottage that they rent out in Maine
(preferably) or Vermont or New Hampshire.
 
We do not want to board them with a vet as they will not get the
one-on-one love that we give them, they, from vets are pretty much kept
in seperate kennel type cages, and could possibly come home with some
other disease from the cats and dogs etc even though they have had all
their vaccines (we've checked with many vets in the area we live in
Oxford, Ct and Middletown, CT where all are babies are seen) also it is 9
dollars a day, we would gladly pay the person who rent a fee to have the
ferts with us, and we also do not want to put them in an environment like
they went last year, what a terrible ordeal that was !!  We lost our two
ferts ginger and Armand to the terrible disease of being in the home or
the woman who was taking care of them, where they were exposed to ECE,
god bless they are recovered and are doing great.
 
having the dreaded ECE and being in Maine without them, we missed them
soooo much! :(  They are our babies and hate to away from them!
 
Can anyone help us with this ?  Any advice as to where to look on the
internet or the papers would be such a help, or anyone with a cottage
would be so much appreciated.  Also, has anyone gone anywhere in those
states (or anywhere) with their fuzzies, how did it work out ?
