I ask for prayers for a very sick boy. His former owner heard of abuse
taking place & got the ferret back. Horrible, just makes you cry
condition. She did take pictures & called in ASPCA. Then she took
him to one of our vets. She placed him in isolation as she suspected
distemper. That has been ruled out. It's one of the worst cases of
upper respitory she has seen.

When he got to the vets, she really though he wouldn't make it thru the
day. He is under a #, for a big framed ferret. Had dog crap, litterally
all over him. Scabs on his lips, a few wounds on his body. But she
found an ulcer in the roof of his mouth. Filled with so much pus. He
couldn't even stand up. He has had a bath, put on meds. And before any
of this took place, she too had pictures taken & has involved ASPCA.
She will follow thru with it.

The person the former owner had let have this ferret is a Small Animal
Specialist for Petco. WE all hope that not only will she have very
heavy animal crulety charges but will be fired as well.

Hi, the ferret, whom does have a name but it will be changed, is being
kept at the vets during the day. At night , a vet tech with no animals
at their home, takes him home & works with him. They are feeding him
AD/baby food for now. This morning, he stood up. !!!! So, please keep
him in prayers.
