Hi everyone,
Just wanted to ask for some information on the Mass. ferret club.  A couple
of issues ago I saw some information on it but must have copied the address
incorrectly.  Could someone please give me the details again.  I would love
to join.
 
Also, some information for any parents having trouble feeding their kids
meat.  As many of you may remember Lucy contracted tape worm from fleas and
got VERY skinny.  I could feel every bone on her body and her head started
to look bigger than the rest of her.  I was SO worried that she might die of
malnourishment!  I got lots of suggestions but none seemed to fly with Lucy!
The only thing she liked was Gerber baby food but unfortunately it had the
dreader ONION POWDER!  So I tried Heinz baby food (which contains only meat
and meat broth but to my dismay she wouldn't touch it.  I finally decided to
add some garlic powder for flavor (one of the spices found in Gerber's).  I
got a little over zealous and added TOO much!  The whole bedroom smelled
like garlic and I was sure the girls wouldn't even get near it....but as
usual mom did not know WHAT she was talking about!  They turned their noses
up at it at first but I dabbed a little on their little lips and once they
got a little lick they went crazy!  They finished off the entire jar!  So
despite the fact that the girls have extremely bad breath after dinner I am
thankful to say that I am finally starting to get some weight back on to my
little nymph!
