Yesterday (and many other days) I spent an hour or so at a pet supply store
reading labels. I have been trying to wean my furkids off Purina Kitten
Chow for about 8 months now and wasting alot of more expensive food in the
process (I mix Purina KC, TF, and Eukanuba). I have heard negative
feedback on Purina Kitten Chow but never any real specifics. Can someone
tell me what is so bad about it? It's contents and nutrients are the same
of higher quality cat, kitten and ferret foods? As far as "meat content"
I have only seen 1 brand actually have a high meat content (Eukanuba) and
my ferrets are not to thrilled with it.

Thanks for the input. Some day I'd love to see some seminars done on
ferret nutrition (in New England!)
