Laura, I usually don't reply to messages from this name, but this one
I had to.

Back in 1987 we purchased a cat safe collar made by Hartz for our cat
Patches, and within hours, it had neatly cut her throat open, she
required major surgery to clean and close her neck. Sure wish we had
had a digital camera so we could have gotten pictures to send to Hartz,
but.......Since then we don't buy anything Hartz, nor do we accept
gifts for the kids manufactured by Hartz, no matter what it is.

Our advice to everyone after this experience would be never, for any
reason, purchase anything made by them. Tell your family and friends
to avoid their products at all cost. Because the cost could be your
companions life!
