Right after Jasper went on his lost weekend, I too thought about suggesting
a lost ferret FAQ. It sure would be nice to have that information all in
one place. When we realized Jasper was gone, I knew we had to have fliers
but I had very little idea of what to put on them to help find him. I
talked to Pam Grant the next day, and I ended up putting out a revised flier
that afternoon. Perhaps Pam Greene would be kind enough to add a section to
the Ferret FAQ?

Also, I believe in the next issue of Modern Ferret, Pam Grant has an article
about how to find your lost ferret. Maybe a piece of the article could be
excerpted (sp?) as well, provided there wouldn't be any legal problems from
doing so. At any rate, if someone wants to get started on building a
document, I'd be willing to help in any way I could.
