The response already is overwhelming.  Ferret people are the best!
 
Both ferrets came through the surgery.  Chunks, with the degloved tail,
lost most of it as well.  They are now a "matched pair".  All we have to
do now is deal with the recovery and find them extra special homes when
they are well.
