Just to drop a note to let everyone know I am home safe and sound. I
have an unbelievable amount of email to wade through, which I will do as
soon as possible, but I'm way behind on other things as well so please
be patient.

I do want to send all my new (and old) European friends a "Thank You" for
all their help and support. A very special "Thank You" goes out to Anja
and Ernst who not only put up with me and my strange sleeping habits, but
made sure I never forgot a meal or a train. It was like having
Dutch-speaking parents and I miss the both of you and all your ferrets.
Another very special "Thank You" goes to Henneke, Stephenie, and Nanja.
I'll never forget our pleasant afternoon in the red light district. ;-)
No, seriously, the thank-you is for inviting me to the Netherlands in the
first place, and I look forward to seeing the three of you again. There
are dozens of other people i will be thanking in the next few weeks as I
report about my ferret experiences.

The museum work was VERY helpful and I have a lot of interesting stories
about the way ferrets are kept in Europe. I'll be penning some
viewpoints during the week and posting them shortly. I'll also be
posting some photos as I get time to develop and print them (or scan
the transparencies). I might even post a photo of Sheila to get her
back for posting one of me. And Bill, it WAS me...don't I look so much
better with the hair hiding my ugly face? Oh, and I prefer to think of
my beard as being blond, not gray. I am not gray, I am not gray, I am
not gray....
