I got Jesse, my first ferret, when he was a kit.  He had no previous owners
but was a bit of a 'nipper' when I brought him home from the pet store.
 
Jesse is two and a half years old and has yet to cuddle or give me my first
kiss; but he does give me 'affectionate looks'-- from a safe distance, of
course.  I really love the 'reserved' little guy and I feel that, in his
own way, he loves me back.
