Hi, Dave!
If you like the look of wood, go to our website
www.zoosferretsanctuary.org
and look at the picture of our playroom at the bottom of our homepage.
Believe it or not, the floor is a one piece sheet of linoleum!

If you click on "Stantz Riley & Goon", and scroll clear to the bottom,
there`s a pretty good shot of the floor there. Several other good shots
of the floor under "Indiana kids"

The floor underneath must be good, or it will look cheap & bumpy--so
there may be some prep work to do--but being one piece, it`s much more
hygienic than tiles, with all the gaps to trap urine & bacteria. This
flooring took about 1 1/2 hours for my hubby to install, after the prep
work he did. Even scrub water causes tiles to pull up, with time. (Our
main room is tile.) Our linoleum came in 12` wide, but I hear it can be
found in 16` too. People often say "OMG--How do you keep up wood
flooring with ferrets?" It looks real. (A really good fake LOL)

Your wife is correct--Carpeting isn`t the best idea with ferrets :)

Best wishes.

Love,
Zoo

ps--Our site hasn`t been updated in a long time. Kinda busy here LOL.
