I am a new subcriber to FML and would like to express my appreciation to
all the terrific people out there who take the time to write and share
information, share wonderful stories ,and show there love of ferrets in
their tearful goodbyes to the critters that have passed on over to the
rainbow bridge! I must appologize for my rather verbose letter the other
day! I get carried away. The internet is a wonderful vehicle for the
exchange of info and support. I didn't have this priviledge 2 years ago
when my last ferret died at the age of 6. I believe now that he was
suffering from an adrenal tumor but the vet here was not familiar with
ferrets and was pretty much useless,(at least where ferrets are concerned).

Now, with the beginning of a relationship with a new little kit and armed
with an endless resource here, I hope to be able to share a long happy life
with my fuzzy...maybe two or three fuzzies eventually!! :) Already I have
learned more about ferrets in the last month than I knew over the previous 6
years spent with Ticker! (although I was well versed in those little ferret
tricks!) Once again, thanks to all the ferret lovers out there! And in the
future I will try to keep my 2 cents worth to a minimum!! :)
