My Bandit is at the verterinarian's right now.

In 36 hours, he went from being a spunky ferret to lethargic. He was very
wobbly early this morning.

Although he went very limp briefly at about 0600 today (Monday), and hadn't
appeared (he's by himself in one cage) to eat or poop overnight, he did pee.
Once at the vet's, he ate several pieces from my hand and licked 3cc water
from the syringe while I was at the vets, but went back to sleep.

Bandit is 2 years old, and has shiny, full, and soft fur.

Will it be easy for the vet to rule out or diagnosis an adrenal condition,
or a biological sort of thing or flu, poisoning, or a possible wasp sting
or a blockage? There was a lot of activity around my home while he was out
yesterday - I hate to think that I could have crushed him or suffocated him
for a time, without even knowing it. Would the vet be able to check for
injury if I asked? I left a note (the doctor wasn't in yet) to ask if
blood glucose should be looked at, and possibly X-rays and feeling around
on Bandit's abdomen... no word yet.

Is there anything I can ask the vet to consider and check for?

Fearfully,

a & Bandit & the Three Brothers (Gilligan, Dakota, Simon) and & Smokey

PS - the vet did just call, and finds a soft mass in the fore-part of
his abdomen; depending on blood data, Bandit will be in surgery in about
an hour and a half.
