Hello All!  Good news, Sabrina's problem in her throat did indeed turn out
to be an abcess, and the vet doesn't think it's a problem.  Just to be sure,
she put her on amoxi, and I'm suppose to keep a careful eye on it...like I
wasn't already!  Thanks again to all who responded to my post.
 
Talked to a wonderful person today who runs a shelter in Gettysburg, PA.  I
was referred to Fran via the Killian's (Zen and the art of ferrets).  Seems
Fran has a shelter full, all ages, and a variety of colors.  She told me
about a Ferret Show this coming Saturday in Frederick, MD, and I'm going to
meet her there.  Can't wait to see all those fuzzbeans!  If anyone would
like more information or directions regarding the show, please e-mail me at
