Looking for info on how to diagnose and treat colds in ferrets. I surfed
around a bit and withouth checking ALL the ferret sites I didn't come across
any information on what to do if your ferret has a cold or flu (actually how
do you tell if they have a cold or the flu?).

I'm concerned because I have a doozy of a cold right now (my first in a few
years and I'd forgotton how miserable they are!) and will be leaving in less
than a week for a 2 week work trip. I'm hiring a Kritter Sitter to come by
once daily who's a receptionist at a different vet so she knows something
about animals but not about ferrets. I figure if they start to incubate my
cold now they'll come down with symptoms just before or after I leave. So I
want to leave her some info on what to look for and what to do. E-mail
direct or to the FML or both.

Thanks,
Mary (achoo!), Boris, Giesela and Booker the dog
