Snow, Moon and Shadow spent the next day searching for beans, They looked
in the pantry, they looked in the kitchen cupboards, but all they could
find was a small tin of baked beans..  They knew this was not going to
be enough to get the hover wagon down.  In disappointment they sat and
wondered what to do.  Then suddenly Snow had a brainwave, I'm sure the
servants have some of that Dutch green pea soup left in the freezer, lets
look, we will have to take it out and defrost it.  That's a waste of time
Snow, said Moon, peas aren't beans.  Geees, said Shadow, It might work,
you know how the servants stink after they eat it, it almost makes us
fly, just smelling it.
 
So that night after lights out, the boys kept outside again, dragging a
big pan of green pea soup.  It was cold and wet snow was coming down,
spring just did not want too come.  But after a few hours the boys
patience was rewarded, Yes Yes there they come again, jumping up and down
they finally managed to get the attention of the hover wagon.  This time
when Wolfy stuck out her head and asked if they had beans, the replay
was, no we have something much better.  Ok we will come down.  And so it
happened that the next day Holland was on red alert.  The experts didn't
know what had happened, but there was a very bad smell and a lot of green
gas over central Holland, was it an attack by aliens,?  was there a gas
leak somewhere,?  Had a comet passed close and some of its fumes entered
the atmosphere?  Nobody knew, but one thing was certain, all wooden shoes
stayed inside that day, those who had to venture out wore gas masks and
did what needed to be done as quickly as possible running to get back
inside where they hoped it was safe.  As for Snow, Moon and Shadow, they
slept the day away dreaming of Tonks, Robin and Wolfy
