I am often asked (as I'm sure you all are) the standard questions and
statements about ferrets (aren't they vicious?, can they be potty trained?,
aren't they wild?) and usually have very good answers that I can back up
with fact. However, I would like to get some relatively hard statistics
behind me when I answer the vicious question. I like to tell people that
more people are attacked each year by dogs than ferrets but want to get
the number of cases. Does anyone have a yearly figure for the whole U.S.
on dog attacks and even ferret attacks? Or even by state. I had a
figure for AZ and am looking for it (did a report on ferrets for a class
and got the figure then). Can anyone help?
