My female ferret, Penny, is about 2--3 months old. She has a bad habit
of chewing on her bars when she wants out, which is all the time. She
only weights 1 lb, 5 oz., so I keep her seperated from the other ferrets,
all male weighing 3-4 lbs.

Is there any thing I can do to keep her from biting the bars? I'm afraid
she will harm herself. I am thinking of getting her a cagemate, I think
she may be lonely. Thanks in advance for any help!
