Hi Everyone,
I was on, then off, and now I'm back on the FML. I really enjoy the FML and
want to thank everyone for the valuable information presented on the list.
I have some questions. First, I own a reclining sofa and a reclining
loveseat. I can't afford to buy a new livingroom set but I do want to own
ferrets. In fact, I am planning on purchasing two in early September. What
can I do? Is there anyway to "ferret-proof" these recliners? If I have to
I'll make the room off-limits but its where we spend most of our time and
I'd like to let them run around in the livingroom when we are home. Second,
I have seen "Fantistic Ferrets" and "Country Ferrets" on the WWW and think
that their prices are reasonable. Can anyone recommend or warn me away from
them? Grand Forks, North Dakota is not exactly the "Ferret Capital of the
World", we have no shelters or breeders nearby. I did contact the Humane
Society here and was told that they haven't ever had a ferret up for
adoption. Third, can anyone tell me if Totally Ferret is okay to feed kits
or should they be put on a kitten food until they are adults? You can
either email me privately with responses or post to the FML if you feel
others would benefit from the responses.

Thanks,
Tracy
