Hey again,

So i went into the petland today and was standin with the little girl
in my arms and the owner of the store was there. He was on the phone so
i waited then told him she was very sick and has been for a few months
now and i wanted him to do something about it. He looked at me and
asked me if i was a vet. I said no, then asked him if his genitals
werewas 3x the size would he not be concerned? I said that she needed
to be bathed or have her bottom washed at least once a day as it is
an infection and an infection that isn't kept clean is one that gets
worse. AND TAKE HER TO THE VET!!!

I was so tempted to walk out with her...i felt pushed aside again.
I went back after 20min and told him they all needed baths and new
hammocks in the cage. I know the guy is a liar because he told me they
were new hammocks....and i said they had been the same ones from over a
year ago when i first got Kuda so not to BS me. They put new hammocks
in and he said he would call Tuxedo vet hospital (the hospital polo
park deals with) to have her checked out. I said the manager had told
me they were waiting to hear back from the breeder and if they did that
I KNOW she'll be put down..and if thats the case i will gladly take
them off her hands at a discounted price and pay for the vet bills
myself. He said they were going to wait for the vet tec to come back
and take her into tuxedo hospital.

I'm still writing a letter, and i have lots of people writing letters
to. This particular store is really badly treating their ferrets, at
least the other stores have proper cages these guys literally sit
beside the cash register right when you walk into the store with a
bunch of sale stuff piled on top of their cage or should i say their
glass box...they're not in the open and hard to see unless you're
specifically looking for them. I will also be contacting SPCA. Im in
Winnipeg Manitoba Canada so have to figure out who to contact for this.

I'm going to call tuxedo and asks them to call me once they see her so
i know she's actually gone to the vet and whats wrong with her. If i
dont hear from them by tomorrow afternoon i'm going back to the store
and i will be buying her at a discount price hopefully. If they'l allow
me to take her home...he was pretty hesitant to even discuss prices
with me. From there on I'm not sure what im going to do maybe i'll
stand outside the petstore and beg for money for all i care this baby
will be saved and healthy again. I'm ready to break into the store and
steal all the ferrets. She's under weight too, very ribby. When i told
my boyfriend all this he said to me "you know you'll never see this
little girl again right?" he thinks she'll be uthinized. I'm afraid my
lack of actions has just killed her.
